Vice Dean Dzhumaeva Lazakat of Osh State University International Medical Faculty (OshSU IMF), Kyrgyz Republic, recently visited University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) & Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital (GTBH), Delhi, India. The purpose of her visit was to connect with OshSU IMF graduates working in various departments of the hospital and to strengthen academic collaborations.

During her visit, Vice Dean Lazakat met with former students who are now serving in different clinical specialties at GTBH. She engaged in discussions about their professional experiences, the challenges they face in clinical practice, and how their education at OshSU IMF has helped them adapt to the dynamic healthcare environment in India.

A key highlight of her visit was a meeting with Mr. Sanjay Kumar from the Academic Department of UCMS & GTBH. They discussed the latest academic and clinical advancements in undergraduate medical education, focusing on curriculum updates, integration of new clinical practices, and ways to enhance medical training. The exchange of ideas aimed at aligning medical education with evolving healthcare needs and ensuring that future graduates are well-equipped with modern clinical skills.

Vice Dean Lazakat also toured various departments of the hospital, where she met with the Heads of Departments (HODs). These interactions provided her with insights into advanced medical practices, interdisciplinary collaborations, and innovations in patient care at UCMS & GTBH.
